Tembo Defence Products to sign MoU with Maharashtra govt to boost defence manufacturing

Tembo Defence Products, a Tembo Global Industries Limited subsidiary, will sign a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Maharashtra government at the World Economic Forum in Davos. This agreement outlines plans to build a defence manufacturing facility in Maharashtra, supporting India’s “Make in India” initiative. The goal is to boost domestic defence production and strengthen national security.

Partnership to Strengthen National Security

The partnership between Tembo Defence Products and the Maharashtra government aims to bolster India’s security infrastructure. The planned facility will be located in Maharashtra and will focus on producing defence equipment. The initiative aligns with the Indian government’s push to increase domestic manufacturing and reduce reliance on foreign suppliers for defence needs.

The signing will occur during the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
